About the Department
The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice Science was started in 2020 as a three-year UG programme focusing on the scientific study of crime, criminals, and the criminal justice system. It integrates classroom learning with internships and visits to police stations, prisons, courts, fire and rescue services, and social welfare departments.

Students gain in-depth knowledge of criminal psychology, forensic science, juvenile justice, victim assistance, and criminological research methods. They also undergo outdoor training in drill and self-defence, building physical stamina, discipline, and preparedness for uniformed services.
