The Red Ribbon is well recognized as a representation of the fight against HIV/AIDS. It stands for comradery and dedication to the battle against HIV/AIDS. The Red Ribbon Club Unit has conducted a wide range of activities and training programs in the college, including blood donation drives and AIDS and healthy living education seminars. It is important that an increasing number of individuals show their care and concern for HIV and AIDS, including those who are infected, are unwell, have passed away, and those who provide care and support to those who are directly affected. The red ribbon serves as a symbol of support for those who are HIV-positive, for those who are not yet infected, for those who are working tirelessly to develop effective treatments, cures, or vaccines, and for those who have lost friends, family members, or other loved ones to AIDS. RRC equips students in the 17–25 age range with the knowledge and practical skills they need to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS, and it turns the most vocal students into peer educators.
