About The Department
BSc Chemistry is a three-year undergraduate course that can be pursued after completing 12th grade in a science-related stream. The curricula of the university have been followed for the academic year with lab and theory classes including different innovative topics in chemistry. The curriculum includes physical, inorganic, organic, Nano, Industrial, Analytical, Food, Dairy, and Cosmetics chemistry handled by subject experts. The department provides special classes, individualized attention, and hands-on instruction using modern chemical instruments. Degrees in Chemistry lead to professional, government, medical, and academic jobs. A chemistry degree can also be used as a springboard for further study and can pursue a wide range of careers. Even in times of heavy unemployment, chemists continue to be one of the most sought-after and employed scientists. Apart from curriculum students were sent to participate in National and international conferences, competitions, Industrial visits, and internship programs in varied colleges, Universities, and Industries. Our policy is to train graduate students to face the challenges of technology-based advancements by providing them with ample opportunities to enrich their research and analytical skills. Our students have hired job facilities and progressed to post-graduate in Government and deemed University. In 2024, the Chemistry department plans to pursue a PG course to perform research on pure and applied chemistry by promoting the development of innovative interdisciplinary research programs. Students can pursue master's science, or master's technology degrees in a variety of subjects, including biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, data analytics, pharmacy, and many others. You could also pursue an M. Tech in Chemical Engineering or other related fields, followed by Ph.D. studies in chemistry, biochemistry, or other relevant fields.
